A Correction On A Killing

On Monday night we reported on the Sunday morning murder of a man who was shot to the head at the corner of King and George Streets.

Regrettably we reported his identity as 74 year old Kent Lehoedie but the name and age of the deceased is actually 42 year old JOHN EMMANUEL GARBUTT.

Our profound apologies to the family of Lehoedie who died of natural causes; the confusion arose when police could not provide an identity of the deceased and our source confused the names in the morgue.

AS for John Garbutt, no one knows why he was killed in his home area. Police only just released their first information on this shooting today saying that he died of head injuries due to gunshot wounds.
