He killed a woman after they had an argument over a smoke and today Fifty year old Edward Buller was sentenced for the crime.
He was convicted of the lesser charge of manslaughter ten days ago and was today sentenced to 16 years today by Justice Adolph Lucas.
Buller's conviction is for the death of 41 year old Ella May Bennett, a.k.a "Stephanie" and "Gal Gal", who was killed on July 20, 2009. Bennett's partially nude body was found 2 days later on the verandah of an abandoned home on Central American Boulevard. She died from injuries to her head and face.
In a caution statement Buller gave to the police that was admitted as evidence Buller said he and Bennett had an argument and a struggle over a "smoke" and he pushed her down on the verandah.
