






A slew of charges were taken to court today for the eight persons involved in the theft of a pistol on Tuesday form a Mennonite delivery-man.
Eight persons, one of them a 17 year old boy, were charged today in the Magistrate's Court in connection with the robbery of a 9 millimeter pistol with 17 rounds of ammunition from Godwin Penner.
Andrew Talbert, Mervin McDonald, and the 17 year old were charged with 2 counts of robbery and handling stolen goods for the firearm and ammunition and 2 wallets that were stolen from Penner and Wayne Humes.
Talbert, Danika Young, Alleia Augustus and McDonald were charged with kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license. Rodney Rowland and the minor were charged with 2 counts of handling stolen goods for the wallets that were stolen from Penner and Humes.
Rowland was offered a cash bail of five hundred dollars.
Vanessa Green, Byron Anderson, Young and Augustus were charged with drug trafficking for 430 grams of cannabis. Green and Anderson were offered cash bails of five hundred dollars each. The case was adjourned until November 27.
