BWSL Embarrassed By Staff Theft In Belmopan

The BWSL water treatment plant in Belmopan was cleaned out - but not by thieves, this was done apparently by employees.

7 news has confirmed that 49 drums of chlorine, diesel fuel, a generator and battery were discovered missing from BWSL in Belmopan. The entire water treatment plant personnel was placed on suspension. We understand two have been fired, two spared and the manager remains suspended.

Pulling a move from the old WASA days, BWSL would not comment and are publicly pretending nothing happened.
