There are three murders to report tonight, two in the Toledo district and one in the Cayo district. We begin in Cayo where a teenager was killed - shot to the heart - in a dispute that started over a gun. Monica Bodden found out about the events that led to the demise of this 16 year old.

16 year old Frank Usher was found on Sunday morning - lying in these bushes - with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest. Neighbors say, around 5 o'clock that morning, they heard two shots ring out.
The teenage boy who resides in Roaring Creek Village, was seeking refuge at a house of 2 friends in Camalote Village - after he had been threatened countless times by two men of his village.

"About 6 o'clock one of the nurse from the hospital called me and told me that they have Frank there dead, so I went and saw him dead."

"He was shot; you mention to me, that you noticed one gunshot wound to his body?"
Juanita Guzman - Foster Mother
"Yes ma'am, one shot straight through his heart."
Monica Bodden
"Do you know if police has detained anyone as yet?"
Juanita Guzman - Foster Mother
"Nobody, they said they were looking for them but they haven't found them."
Monica Bodden
"The place where he was murdered, that was where he was staying?"
Juanita Guzman - Foster Mother
"Yes"

"Alone?"
Juanita Guzman - Foster Mother
"Well I think he had 2 guys with him there. One of them is taking care of the house and they just gave him lodging for him to sleep the night and in the morning he would come. All that I that I understood, that the guy said in the morning he heard two gun shots and got up and looked out he saw a crowd of people and he see it was Frank, so he called taxi and drop him off. He didn't tell me if the sleep there the night or what happened because I haven't seen anyone that can tell me what happened."
Guzman told us that her son has been receiving threats for the past month - by two young men who are from the same village.

"Why was he being threatened?"
Juanita Guzman - Foster Mother
"Well because, there are these two guys that he said were his friends and they supposedly gave him a gun to hold, and it looks like he might have taken the gun and gave it to someone else, and that's why the threatened him and told him that they would kill him if he didn't returned the gun."

"So the guys would come around this side all so to threaten him?"
Juanita Guzman - Foster Mother
"Yes they passed right here on the street. I was at my sister and saw him coming so I came right behind him and as Frank saw him, Frank ran through the orchard, he went and Frank followed behind him but Frank has already dissapear into the bushes. They said that they would kill him; they tell people that they would kill him, so I know it was them."
Guzman has been Usher's foster mother since the young man was 9 years old. Both his parents died.

"When I took Frank he was just going to standard 1. His mother just asked me if I wanted to take the little boy and I took him. If anyone come and ask me to take any child and raise them I just take them. I don't have any support from anyone, but I still help because God is my supporter. Right here they could stay, he has his own room."

"His mom died?"
Juanita Guzman - Foster Mother
"His mom died about 2 or 3 years ago, I don't remember. I take hard because I feel like it's my own son, I love him just like he is my own son. Despite some times my own children are not around, he would be here and I would ask him to go get some wood for me or Frank fix the fence or Frank do something. He was here for me all the time."
"I would say yes I want justice, but you know the ones who see it, they will not talk so there is no justice. God say left vengeance for him,he (the killer) will pay, they can hide but how long will you hide for, one day God said in his word, whatever you sow you will reap, and I believe that. This that happened the same cry that I am crying his mother will cry the same way, because we should not tolerate it, I think that all mothers know their children and they what their children do, so why hide him, why allow him to hide."
No one has been detained at this time.
