And turning now to other news, another man has died in a traffic accident; this is after two men were knocked down and subsequently died after being run over by busses last week.

But this time, there's no bus driver to blame, in fact no kind of driver at all; the culprit is a horse - left to wander the road by his owner.

The horse, which carries the unfortunate name Tequila, Tequila was wandering across the Northern Highway in front of Los Lagos at around 11:00 pm when 43 year old Jaime Sosa was driving his motorcycle. The horse ran into the cycle and Sosa was flung from his motorbike to the pavement.

Sosa's family says he did not die instantly - but police say when he got there he was face down on the road and appeared to be dead. Police say the cycle flipped when the horse hit it and he received serious face and head injuries. He was one mile away from his home when the collision occurred.

And while Sosa died, the horse survived the collision with injuries to its hindquarters. The horse called Tequila is reportedly owned by a nearby property owner who residents complain does not look after them - which is why they roam the area.
