10 days ago, we told you about the stabbing of Leon Hinds - and his family told us they felt he was stabbed by his girlfriend's son. Police investigators have reached that same conclusion and 19 year old Meshack Flores, a laborer of Arlington Drive was today charged with the attempted murder of his step-father, Leon Hinds.
Flores was also charged with dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm. Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith remanded him into custody until December 7.
Around 9p.m on October 26, Hinds was standing in front of a shopping Center on Fabers Road when his assailant stabbed him 3 times, to the right lung, center of his chest and the left side of his neck.
He was admitted to ward at Karl Huesner memorial Hospital in a critical condition. The doctor who examined him said the most serious injury was the one to his neck.
