Two months ago he was charged with indecent assault on his 11 year old step-daughter, and now an auto mechanic has been charged with carnal knowledge of his 6 year old step-daughter.
He appeared in the number one Magistrate's court today where Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith explained to him that she will not take a plea because the offence is indictable. Due to the nature of the offence she denied bail and remanded him to custody until January 27th, 2012.
The carnal knowledge incident occurred between January 1st, 2011 and October 21st, 2011. We cannot show the photo, or give the name of the accused because it would lead to the identity of the child.
