And a pair of guns have also been recovered in Belize. The weapons were the ones involved in the armed robbery of De He Li store on Friday morning.
As we reported, three men ran into the store and stole the owner's weapon but police caught them before they escaped the area. One gun was recovered, but that meant that one more used in the robbery was still missing and so was the gun stolen from the storeowner.
Well, on Saturday those two weapons were found. One was recovered from a lot on Yorke Street in the morning and then in the afternoon, the storeowner's weapon was found in a lot at the corner of Lancaster Street and Freetown Road. The accused presumably flund the weapons down when they scramble don the roof of an adjoining building to get away from police. The subterfuge didn't last long and all three were charged.
