Raphael Martinez, Police Public Relations Officer
"At approximately 9:48 last night, police went to the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital where they saw Karl Huesner, a 26-year old male, and he was suffering from gunshot wounds to the left side of the chest as well as the left lower back area. "
"Apparently what happened, just about 9:42 that same evening, Mr. Huesner was walking around in his yard, and reportedly they heard several gun shots in that area - which apparently caused the injuries that he is suffering from at this point."

"Further investigations have revealed so far that he is in stable condition presently at the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital, and in the area police found 2 expended.38 MM shells. Presently we have no suspects, and no lead has been recovered at this time - no motive as well."
"So it's still under investigation at this time."
Police say there are no suspects at this time and their investigation continues.
