Britain's Prince Henry of Wales, better known as Prince Harry, the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana is scheduled to visit Belize for two days in March.
The 27-year old Prince who is the fourth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II, Belize's Head of State, is expected to arrive in the country on March 2nd.
Though it was officially leaked some time ago, the official announcement of Prince Harry's visit to the country came in the form of a press release from St. James Palace dated TODAY, January 19th, 2012. According to the release, the Prince's official itinerary will be announced at a further date, however, it's expected that much of his stay will be spent in the Cayo District.
The release says Prince Harry will visit Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas on behalf of the Queen as part of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee celebrations scheduled for March 2nd through March 8th.
Unlike his older brother, Prince William who has paid a visit to Belize, Prince Harry has never visited the country before.
