22 year-old Gushany Wagner, a CYDP Laborer of Taylor's Alley, is spending his second night on remand after he was accused of pulling a firearm on another man.
28-year-old Clarence Slusher reported to police about 8:40 p.m. on Monday, he was socializing with his uncle through Taylor's Alley when 2 men approached them. One of the men reportedly punched Slusher on the jaw and the other pulled out a firearm, pointed it at his chest and threatened him to keep quiet.
Police investigated the report and they charged Wagner with aggravated assault and wounding.
He was taken before Magistrate Dale Cayetano yesterday, when he pleaded not guilty to both offences.
Because assault was allegedly committed with a firearm, Wagner was ineligible for bail, and was remanded him to prison until his next court date, which is set for September 13.
