On Monday we told you about the death of 59-year-old Augustine Rivas after what eyewitnesses say was 6 to 10 consecutive days of drinking.

It happened on Sunday night in St. Margret's village on the hummingbird highway when surveillance cameras at Rivas's local grocery store captured images of him and two others flailing about and foaming at the mouth. Police are still awaiting a toxicology report and aren't sure if Riva's death is due to poisoning or just alcohol poisoning.

However, Riva's postmortem issued this morning revealed his cause of death to be acute respiratory failure as a consequence of acute pulmonary edema. Riva's drinking companions 27-year-old Marlon Sajet and 64-year-old Manuel Gonzalez have both been treated and released from the Western Regional and Karl Heusner Memorial Hospitals respectively.
