But, so far, no perhaps only three have taken that advice and surrendered.
Those are the three that have been recaptured:
Mark Pelayo was first, he was found on the Boom Road near the Hattieville Cemetery this morning.
A neighbour to the prison tells us that he was captured in her yard:
Lujana Arnold, Neighbor to the Prison
"This morning when the young man came, I saw something familiar that this had to be an escaped person, because the young man had on a grey suit and the bottom part was wet up and his feet looked bad and my brother ask him if he was an escapee and he said yes. When my father was calling 911 I told them to entertain him so that the police could come for him."

"Last night when you heard that prisoners had escape, were you nervous?"
Janet Arnold, Neighbor to the Prison
"Not really, because we already use to it in Hattieville. They don't stay around here much. Whenever they come they would just pass through and leave."
Reporter
"I understand you family had an experience with a prisoner."
Janet Arnold, Neighbor to the Prison
"This morning, we had the first one that they catch this morning right over at the building over there. He was here and I saw my family on the verandah and I came out and ask them who is the young man and they say he is an escapee. I told them I don't want him around here. I told him please to go away from here, because we will be charged for him and so he said he just wanted a call and I told him no we can't give you any calls and so he went over to that section over there and he sat over there. Police was already to the back of the house and when they came we told them he went over there. That's where they captured him. It's not the first time in Hattieville we had prisoners escape and come around here."

And then, this afternoon two more escapees were recaptured: first was Christopher Bradley who was taken during the firefight at the orange orchard off the coastal highway, and then later on police caught the odd man in the group, mennonite, George Bednrick.
