And while that teenager has survived an attempt on his life, 16-year-old Gregory Lewis didn't. The minor was killed in San Ignacio last week Wednesday on election night. His body was found in the middle of the Bullet Tree Road by a police officer who transported him to the hospital. Lewis passed away while receiving treatment, but not before he gave the police some much needed information that will hopefully help them find his killer.
ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, NCIB
"Police have detained several persons and we're following several leads in relation to that investigation. He did provide some information whilst he was still conscious before undergoing treatment where he later passed away. Those are some of the issues the police are working on at this point in time."
