And, while he was willing to take on that big drug bust, Compol Chester wanted no part of commenting on the sensational murder trial presently happening before the Supreme Court. As we've been reporting WPC Michelle Brown is accused of the murder of barber Fareed Ahamd. But, yesterday in court she dropped a bomb, when she said it was another police officer - a corporal who stepped into Ahmad's vehicle and shot him in the head.
That corporal made a surprise appearance in court where he flatly denied her claims and said he had a credible alibi witness, his uncle, a very senior cop, who can attest that he was at home at the time.
It's a scintillating swirl of she said, he said - on top of a murder which outraged the community and devastated a family. But while one of his cops stands accused of murder, and she has now counter - accused another cop of actually pulling off an execution right in front of her - the commissioner today made it clear he wanted no part of it.

Chester Williams - Commissioner of Police "I can't comment on it, the matter is still before the court. The court will be the one to determine if in fact Ms. Brown is the one who pulled the trigger, so I'm not going to comment on that."
The case took an adjournment today, and tomorrow attorneys for both sides will address the judge before he makes a ruling.
