Weed Fields Up In Smoke

Switching now to news from the north, Corozal Cops and BDF soldiers on a joint operation made a major weed bust when they discovered two thriving marijuana fields in the village of Consejo. The first contained 2,500 plants measuring between 5 and 6 feet tall and a shed used for drying the plants, the total weight of the weed found under the shed was 14.6 pounds.

And nearby, the joint operation found a second field with another 3,240 smaller weed plants that were between 1 and 2 feet tall and three more sheds that housed over 11 pounds of processed weed.

Both marijuana fields have since been destroyed by fire. No arrests have been made as no one was seen in any of the areas during the operation.
