Keeping it on fuel, last Saturday night at around 7:00, the PUMA gas station in Dangriga Town was robbed by 3 armed, masked assailants who stole an unspecified amount of money.
Yesterday, the Head of the National Criminal Investigation Branch shared a few details on their investigation into this crime:
ACP Joseph Myvette
"Saturday night sometime around 6:45pm the manager of PUMA Gas Station in Dangriga Town reported to police that whilst he was preparing the day's sale for deposit, 3 dark complexion male persons, one of whom was armed with a hand gun and all 3 were wearing maks and caps entered the store where they demanded money and as a result they made off with an undisclosed amount of money both from the manager and from one of the gas attendant. No one was injured during the process. Police are seeking 3 suspects in relation to this investigation."
Reports say the robbers had a 9 millimetre pistol with an extended clip, and a long arm rifle. They stole one cash register and searched the other two talking an unknown amount of cash.
Our records show that this gas station has been robbed more than once in the past 6 years.
