Fruit Truck Caused Four Car Pileup

And today's session of the Commission of Inquiry started a bit late since the PSU representative, Luke Martinez, was held up on the highway after an accident on the George Price Highway backed up traffic for miles. Our own news team was stuck in the traffic for about 20 minutes.

And while official details on the accident haven't been released by the police department, it seemed to have stemmed from when a pickup truck carrying fruits lost a wheel on the highway. The truck did not fully pull off to the side of the road, and only placed one set of branches on the road to warn oncoming traffic. That wasn't enough and it caused a four car pileup.

There are no indications that anyone was severely injured in the accident.
