A family of 11 siblings and one father is trying to piece together the events that led to the tragic death of their mother.
On Tuesday morning, 67-year-old Dolores Pana was standing at a bus stop at mile 18 on the Stann Creek Valley Road when, just before 7:00, a motorcyclist collided with her. Both the cyclist and the victim were found lying on the side of the road, but only Pana succumbed to her injuries. Her family still has no idea what happened, especially since Pana could be seen at that very same bus stop almost every day. Her daughter spoke to us about when she learned of her mother's death.
Hilaria Pana, Daughter of Deceased
"We went to the area where she was and when we reach, she was not responding. She was bleeding on the left side of her face, here head was bleeding, blood was coming out of her ears, her foot was broken, it was terrible."
"Everyday she would go wait for a mini van and she would travel. She goes to Dangriga, but this time she was going to the farm, she was waiting for the van to stop at Alta Vista so from there my pa was waiting for she to go to the farm but she never made it, she never did made it."

"We were just right there watching my mom's body and nobody told me nothing we only see the man was lying there, police were there but they haven't said anything. They haven't visited we, so right now we are coming from Dangriga to find out what is going on because we aren't hearing anything, police didn't come to us and told us what happen, who is the person who hit my mom, nothing."
"My mom she was a… loving person for us because she love all her children, she have 11 children, 7 boys, 4 girls, she would do anything for her children, she's a strong lady."
"She do farming, they do farming so that's why she have to go and see my pa at the farm because one of my brothers live down there so she go visit him sometimes but… this is all the time she go, all the time, so I don't know how it happen, we don't know, nobody saw how she get his by the motorcycle, nobody. It's so sad for us."
The motorcycle driver, 32 year old Ernest Les Arnold was rushed to the hospital for an operation because of the injuries he sustained. He will be issued with a notice of intended prosecution.
