Earlier in the week, we received news of a chopping victim, one Allan Teul a Pastor Silver Creek village in the Toledo district. He'd been rushed for treatment to the KHMH after he endured an attack in his village on Sunday, May 9th, 2021.
Tonight a 24-year-old BDF soldier Orville Che has been charged with attempt murder, Aggravated assault, and wounding for that vicious assault.
But what could have prompted such a vicious attack? Well, reports from the village say that certain persons in the village felt that witchcraft had been used against a woman in the village and the assault may have been retaliation for this alleged obeah attack.
But we couldn't confirm that when we spoke to the village Alcalde. He merely told us that he'd called police after being informed of the incident and that he'd been present when a police mobile picked up the pastor.
