Tonight, the family of 58-year-old Lincoln Erskine is mourning his untimely passing, after they found his body last night inside his Ladyville home.
Erskine, who is a resident of the Christian Tower area of Marage Road, was last seen by his family on Monday. They say that he visits them daily, and so when he didn't show up for most of yesterday, they got worried. At around 7 p.m. yesterday, they went looking for him, and that's when they found his body on a sofa. It appears that someone stabbed him to death inside his house, and the family also found his front door damaged.
This morning, his sister granted us an off-camera interview, and she described the scene they found last night. Here's what she had to say:
At this time, it is unclear who attacked Erskine, but he was a social drinker. There is the possibility that he may have been attacked by someone he invited into his home.
