

Police took 2 firearms and a stash of ammunition off the streets of Belize City.
During the lunch hour yesterday, officers searched an empty lot on Police Street - which led them to a.38 revolver.
They then searched an empty lot on Antelope Street, and that's when they found a homemade weapon - looking something like a sawed off musket.
Finally, the cops searched an empty lot on Curl Thompson Street. They ended up finding a bag that contained 40 live rounds of 9mm ammunition, and 6 live rounds of.38 ammunition. All of these illegal items were sealed, labeled, and deposited as found property.
