And from dangerous weapons to what could be the dangerous spreading of misinformation. The Belizean Justice and Rights Movement held another press conference today where they clarified the positions of two doctors whose professional bonafides were called into question.
They mentioned that Dr Orlando Pelayo, who is not a medical doctor, is not an advisor on vaccines or the virus, but rather his role is to focus on a holistic approach. Whereas, Dr Gerald Zuniga is the only medical doctor on their team. The other two doctors they had listed, Jose Espat and Abraham Flowers, are not licensed medical professionals.
But regardless of their roles, the group was formed to advocate for Belizeans to have a choice in whether or not they take that vaccine. And while they do indeed have that choice, their conference quickly spiraled into claims that the virus is man-made, the pandemic doesn't exist, and the vaccine is an experimental shot.
