And while Laddie's Guardian is still waiting to see how the situation will be handled, when he says he wants justice, he means it in the fairest sense of the term. Today he tempered himself when discussing the man who took his child's life.
Reporter
"Have you had a chance to speak with the commissioner of police yet?"
Emil Bradley- Father of the Deceased
"I haven't spoken to him but from what he is saying, he was stating he will be dealt with like any other person would be dealt with according to the law and this is what we want. We're not trying to crucify him in anyway, but he did wrong, and he needs to pay for it, it's a life that has been loss that cannot be replaced. His actions have consequences and that's all we want."
Reporter
"Many persons are calling for him to be charged with murder, what are your thoughts?"
Emil Bradley
"If that is the conclusion of the investigation like the commissioner said, manslaughter or whatever, he will charge him, we just want the system to deal with this situation fairly. We're not here to make a big scene, we will not just sit here and take it either, we're giving him a chance for them to do what is right and then after that we will decide where we take matters from there."
Reporter
"I assume you haven't been able to have any word with his officers as well that is accused of shooting Laddie?"
Emil Bradley
"At this time, I'm being a parent, when you're not seeing this person, you could deal with it but if you see this person and you think about your child it makes you think different, different feels."
