And even though there was a gang-related murder over the weekend, the ComPol is still optimistic about this particular group of men since he says they weren't involved in that incident. He told us today that he believes the truce will hold and that the streets of the city will be calm.

I know that it is not easy, considering the fact that some of the wounds of these young men goes deep and the hate and anger that they may have towards each other may be at an extremely high level. Perhaps the time spent incarcerated was used to try and mend some of the hurt and to remove of the anger and once that is done it can facilitate a truce between the groups."
