Quarter Tonne of Weed in Coro

Police in Corozal bagged almost 500 pounds of weed along with a trio of guns yesterday. The stash was found in the San Jomal area - near the free zone. They came up with 455 pounds of weed tightly wrapped din plastic bags. Along with that, they found three nine millimeter pistols along with two magazines and 16 live rounds of ammunition.

Reports tell us the major stash was found in a dumpster. Large quantities of weed are known to move form Mexico, through Corozal to Central Belize.
