And ASP Yearwood also gave us an update on an aggravated burglary that occurred earlier this week in a home at Mile 15 on the Philip Goldson Highway.

68-year-old Perry Franks told police that four armed men entered his home, one of them wearing something resembling a police uniform and two others in camouflage.

They allegedly handcuffed him and stole a cellphone, a battery and $50. According to ASP Yearwood, the police are doing all they can to ensure that the villagers in that area feel safer after that traumatic ordeal.
