Robber Shot At Store Near Los Lagos

In the Belize District last night, an alleged robber survived a gunshot after he was reportedly trying to steal rum from a store just outside of Los Lagos.

He and the store owner, 35-year-old Zhufeng Luo, got into a fight which ended when Luo shot the suspect, Roberto Carlos Vasquez with his licensed firearm.

ASP Yearwood told us more:

The store was also robbed back in April 2019 when the proprietor was held at gunpoint.
