And while Sho's death is tragic, a taxi man from Orange Walk is lucky to be alive after he was stabbed multiple times on Saturday night.
But even with those injuries, Cain Cansino managed to escape the grasp of his assailants, got out of the car, and then emptied the clip of his.38 revolver on them. Both of them were hit and were rushed to the hospital, where they will be until police are able to charge them. Cansino was treated and released and today, he told our colleagues at CTV3 the story of his heroic survival. Courtney Menzies has this story.
The alleged assailants, 21-year-old Wilhelm Nunes, and 21-year-old Joel Arzu are in stable condition. One of them was shot in the neck.
