And the police are also trying to find more information on the John Doe discovered partially submerged in water in an area behind the Belize Port Authority yesterday morning. Earlier today, they issued a photo of his tattoo, with the name Desiree, in hopes of identifying him.

This evening reports say he is 25-year-old Jose Pedro Guzman of no fixed address. Other information police gleamed is that he is a dark skinned man and was wearing a green sleeveless shirt, long grey pants and a grey sweater at the time of his death. His body was also found with a gunshot wound, making Guzman likely the victim of a murder.
