There was a shooting in Belize City this afternoon, where an 18 year old call center employee was reportedly shot to his foot and hand.

It happened at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Faber's Road around 2:30 opposite the Muslim School.

The 18 year old was rushed to the hospital and is reported to be stable. We note that he is reportedly a relative of persons from the Pen Road area who have been targeted in gun violence before.
