And while Guzman was killed sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday morning, there was a rash of shootings yesterday in the city.

Last night around 7:00, 43-year-old David Tillett was shot in his leg in front of a carwash on Vernon Street. Tillet was reportedly talking to someone else when shots were fired and he was hit. By all accounts, he wasn't the intended target, but he is still in the hospital with the bullet in his leg. His family said he needs blood donations to go into surgery to remove the bullet. And to cover medical expenses, they're planning to have a food fundraiser next month. For now, Tillett is listed in a stable condition.
