Early this morning, Ladyville residents living near Manta Ray Boulevard, Poinsettia Street, and the surrounding neighborhood were awakened by police activity in their area. The cops were looking into a robbery last night in which the victim was stabbed.

Police haven't released any official information but 7news understands that a 55-year-old resident of Lords Bank showed up at the Ladyville Police Station at around 1 a.m. this morning. He was seen suffering from multiple stab wounds to the body.

We understand about an hour or so before he showed up to the station, that he was driving his vehicle in the vicinity of the junction between Poinsettia Street and Manta Ray Boulevard. It is unclear how it happened, but he was reportedly socializing with 4 men and a woman. They ended up assaulting and robbing him of almost 5 thousand dollars and his cell phone. During the robbery, he was stabbed multiple times.

Police combed the nearby area, and they found a slipper and a knife which is believed to be the weapon used to attack the victim, who was transported to the KHMH for medical treatment.
