And the ComPol also gave us an update on the investigation into the murder of 58-year-old Michael Clarke. As we reported, Clarke was sitting in the car in front of his home with his kids in the backseat while his wife opened the gate to the driveway. That was when a gunman opened fire, hitting him in the head.
Today, the ComPol said that the police are already seeking a suspect.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"I know that the matter with Michael Clarke murder, is one that we are looking at, there are several angles that we are looking at possible motives, we have a suspect we believe is responsible but our investigators are still trying to tie the pieces together to gather the evidence needed to see if we'll be able to close in on that suspect and perhaps arrest and charge that individual, so it's an ongoing investigation."
Clarke was a well-versed marijuana advocate who was set to appear on Krem's WUB Morning Vibes the morning after he was killed.
