Weed On A Plane

You've probably heard of the Hollywood movie, "Snakes on a Plane" - but in Belize you're much more likely to find weed on a plane!

That's what police found today at about 3:20 when they visited the Placencia airstrip where they checked packages at the cargo section of Tropic Air.

They came upon a box containing stuffed with 3 plastic bags containing weed. Further searches led to another box containing an additional three parcels of weed wrapped in a transparent wrap.

The total cannabis cargo weighed in at 14.2 pounds.

They couldn't tie it to anyone so it was labelled as found property.
