35-year-old Kenya Villamil was brutally attacked in the hours after the Orange Walk Carnival, stabbed 14 times and left for dead by her ex-partner Myron Palencia.

But she somehow survived and we expect Kenya to continue to make a slow recovery. But the news tonight is that her alleged assailant Myron Palencia has finally been caught. He's currently detained awaiting an arraignment, where he will be formally read the charge of attempted murder.
