Shots were fired on a busy downtown street in Belize City today. Reports say there was an attempted robbery at a store near the corner of Orange Street and Duck Lane - and shots were fired. Best reports say no one was hurt, but, it happened around 3:30 - when many school children are in the area - causing terror on that busy street. Police were able to detain a suspect nearby on George Street.
