Last night we had part one of our interview with Nickiesha Polanco. She's UDP Collet Representative Patrick Faber's ex and the other of his daughter - who - after years of silence - came forward yesterday with an anti domestic violence post, saying, quote "I too have lived through my nightmare with the said man…I would implore all women who are victims of domestic violence to realize that your life and your children's lives are what should be YOUR priority! …getting away may save your life!."

But on May third of this year, she was a silent witness, capturing on her cell phone, as another woman, Faber's current partner was going through her own struggle with him - fighting for a car key - as he head butted her.

When we spoke to Polanco in the US yesterday - we asked her via Zoom why she kept rolling even as her daughter was witnessing her father in the middle of a domestic dispute:

Reporter
"You were the person who was capturing all that on camera."

Nickiesha Polanco, Mother of Faber's Child
"Yes, I was."

Reporter
"So, why did you choose to do that, or why did you feel it important to do that?"

Nickiesha Polanco, Mother of Faber's Child
"To record it? Patrick is the one that asked me to."

Reporter
"Why would he ask for that?"

Nickiesha Polanco, Mother of Faber's Child
"He had asked me to record the whole incident that happened, now when he started to get a bit more violent, that is when I ended that part of the video. Myself, I chose to, because I just did not want to capture that. My thing is, my daughter was there standing watching them, so I picked her up, took her on the other side of the street and simply started to show her the trees and the birds and whatever."

Reporter
"I have to ask you, as a mother and as a mother of a child who's custody you presumably share with Mr. Faber, it is so ugly to see these events unfolding and the child was right there in the middle of the action or of the exchange. You know, why didn't you just stopped capturing, remove the child and just say yo I -"

Nickiesha Polanco, Mother of Faber's Child
"That's part of what I did, I am not a part of the video. We were inside the vehicle, I was trying to leave, and I literally had to get out of my own vehicle with my child and leave them there so that I can basically distract her so that she wouldn't be looking at them."

Reporter
"You have endured abuse at the hands of Mr. Faber, and to hear his side of the story, he has endured abuse at your hands, or through your actions. That is the claim, I am not trying to adjudicate that, I am just saying that many time people in these abusive relationships they end up right back with each other, what would you say to that?"

Nickiesha Polanco, Mother of Faber's Child
"That they should find a way to get out, find a way within their own family, find a support system."

Faber has alleged that Polanco is the one who sold his opponents the video of the domestic dispute - a claim which she flatly denies.
