And in other hard news, the sirens sounded on the Northside this afternoon at 2:00, when a small wooden structure on St. Joseph street went up in flames.
Firefighters were still on the scene when our news team arrived and the structure was not much more than ash and soot.
And in the immediate aftermath of the blaze, we spoke to his sister and neighbour who is just grateful that the fire didn't make its way over to her home. Here's what she told us:
Cherisse Halsall:
"Where were you when it got started?"
Darlene Murphy, Sister of fire victim
"Work, work, and I got a phone call but I don't know who it's from but I work up there and when I came around the curb the thing was already on fire already?"
"All I did was scream and drop because I said lord I don't want my house to go Jeez because see how close we are, yeah, we're close but this is not the first, second, third, nor fourth, this is the fifth time he do that but now it's burned down."
Cherisse Halsall:
"So it's your brother who lives next door, how is he doing?"

Darlene Murphy, Sister of fire victim
"I don't even know where he is, I don't know where he is but you know he no correct so he will talk lone craziness because they're talking to him with sense and he's you know, so he can't even explain himself."
"He set it on fire and then he claims, well I saw the crackhead up there but I can't say it's him because I know that my brother has mental problems and he has done this before about four times before now but finally it's been burned down now."
Cherisse Halsall:
"And you have a whole other set of worries now because where will he live?"
Darlene Murphy, Sister of fire victim
"No my problem, he's the one that caused it and when my mom was alive he was burning it down so well he's succeeded now."
"With him I was afraid even to sleep because I know right, only him was up there nothing was in that house you know, nothing, just rubbish and him up there nothing was in that house. No, and when I say nothing I mean nothing. I don't know what he will do now or I don't know what will happen but I would want them to take it down."
"The only thing I have to worry about, you see where they did the water my stove got water by the kitchen is scorched up and some parts of my living room are wet."
"Just a little repair I have to but you know I don't want anybody to, I don't like hands out I don't want anybody to, you know, I will do it myself. So, I have children so."
