FIU Closer To Nabbing Phishing Culprits

At the start of the year, 7News broke the story of a phishing scam that was affecting customers at several of Belize's Banks.

It caused a bit of a panic among anyone who banks and even led some customers to pull their money from certain banks.

Well, tonight Belize's Financial Intelligence Unit is one step closer to finding the culprits behind this particular phishing scam. Here's what the FIU director Kent Clare told the media yesterday.
