A park ranger who'd been working with TIDE for almost two decades was found dead in the Paynes Creek National park last night. Just before 7, the body of 32-year-old Norman Williams was discovered crushed under a 4-wheel ATV. Williams reportedly left from the central station of the national park around 10:30 that morning on the ATV to check on a wild bush fire about 10 miles north of the park. When he didn't report back at 5 in the evening, other employees went out to search for him.
Notably, the ATV was neither insured nor licensed.
