It's the biggest auto parts vendor in Belize, and early this morning, thieves targeted Westrac auto parts on the Philip Goldson Highway.

At 2:00 am, the security guard heard the alarm - but through that it had been triggered by some insect. He went to check the compound at 3:00 am and found the iron door on the building's west end ajar. He called the police who found that someone had cut a hole through the chain link fence and pried open the louvers to get into the building.

Presumably the iron door that was ajar was to take stolen items out, but - this is the interesting part - when the manager checked the entire building and the inventory, he found nothing missing.
