And the Acting Port Commissioner also gave us an update on the death of 17-year-old Logan Pratt, the American teenager who was killed back in February after she was hit by a boat.
Gaitan explained that they have concluded their findings but haven't concluded whether the boat captain should be charged, especially since - as we initially reported - the teenager and her mother were swimming in an area that is heavily trafficked by boats.
The commissioner also gave us an update on another man who'd been killed after he was chopped by a boat propeller.
Darlin Gaitan, Acting Port Commissioner

Reporter:
"Is it that now the Port Authority would advise or recommend for a criminal investigation or consult with the DPP's office?"
Darlin Gaitan, Acting Port Commissioner
"It will all depend because remember where the incident happened also appears to be an area that is not meant for that type of use and so we have a user conflict situation here that needs to be clarified in order for that recommendation to happen, to take place."
Reporter:
"The one in Caye Caulker where the man too was knocked by a boat and he died."
Darlin Gaitan, Acting Port Commissioner
"Yes, that is a very similar incident because it was a chopping incident from a propeller and that is still very, a fresh investigation, and we have reports from the police departments as to what they gathered officially as well and that seems to be pointing towards self injury as well."
