And while that 16-year-old was ruthlessly gunned down, two other teenagers stopped by our studio in recent weeks, alleging police abuse. 16-year-old Anthony Perry Jr and 15-year-old Akeelah Perry both told us that they'd been beaten up by police on two separate occasions.

But today, the ComPol said that their investigation is saying differently, and that the sibling's stories weren't exactly factual.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"What do you say about children having no respect to police? Or children being involved in commission of heinous crimes? We have to be fair and call out things for what they are. I certainly would never countenance police taking advantage of children but in today's society we have many children who do not behave like children and when we have people mini the media who bolster the behavior of these children, we're not helping them, we're making matters worse for them. That matter with the 16 year old as you have said, we have looked into that matter and have concluded that the information is not true. In respect to the daughter this time, thankfully there is a store within the area where the incident occurred and again it showed clearly when, the video

footage from the store showed clearly when the police officer approached the young lady and she ran from the police, the police had to pursue her and caught up with her. Again, it's a clear case of resisting arrest. The video footage did not show anything where the police used any unwarranted force against her, just that police had to, as you would know, use some degree of force to subdue her as she was running or trying to flee from the police. That for me does not speak bad about the police, the police did what they needed to do. A complaint was made against her of her being involved in a fight, the police were investigating that matter, as a part of the investigation they had to go to her to ascertain if in fact she was involved in a fight. There was no need for her to evade the police and she did, the police had to do what needed to be done to apprehend her and the father need to take greater responsibility in ensuring that he mentors his children to learn to respect and obey the law as well as to obey and respect other citizens of this country."
