And yesterday, we told you that a special constable was convicted for unlawful sexual intercourse after he engaged in sexual activities with a 13-year-old minor up until she was 15.

Today, the ComPol said it should be a warning to all that those who rape and assault children will be punished by the law.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Well, certainly, he is no longer a special constable, he has been relieved of that responsibility and again, it is not just for him but for all of those persons who have the tendency of perpetuating these types of crimes against our children need to understand that what they are doing is a serious matter and the police will do what needs to be done to ensure that justice is served. I am happy to see that we are getting convictions in the courts where these are concerned as well so it's a message for those who have that tendency to be aware that their conduct is not going to go unpunished."
