In December of 2019, Armando Medina was allegedly caught on a security camera simply hopping into an Isuzu DMAx in front of Yohnny Rosado's home and business and driving off. Apparently, the key had been left inside and the door was open. The car thief later crashed the vehicle a few miles away and was apprehended at the scene.
But today, almost four years later Medina got off that crime.
That's after Senior Magistrate Pitts-Anderson upheld a no case submission from Medina 's attorney, Orson "OJ" Elrington. He submitted that the crown made out no case against his client for theft. That's because the 12 seconds of surveillance video was found to be inconclusive.
He explained why outside the courtroom:
Medina chose not to comment saying he didn't like the publicity his case got and now he is working and just want to put the case behind him.
