Tonight, the Justice for Laddie Foundation has sent out their first official response to the sentencing of 29-year-old former police corporal Kareem Martinez.
In a Press release sent out today the Justice for Laddie Foundation says that they are closing this chapter of Laddie's short life and welcoming a new beginning with Laddie's Legacy work.
That release begins with an expression of appreciation for a verdict that they say is gratefully received and goes on to thank Justice Antoinette Moore for her quote: "dedication to justice and the long hours of thoughtful research put into her sound verdict and sentencing."
And rounding out the release the Justice For Laddie Foundation thanks the Belizean people who they believe have supported their journey. They also express their desire to quote: " Share this beacon of justice with families that face similar circumstances."
