The latest stabbing victim, is 34 year old Placencia woman Jamilee Murrillo. She remains hospitalized after she was stabbed by her common law husband over the weekend. ACP Romero told us more:

"On Saturday, the First day of July 2023 police responded to a stabbing incident where one Jamilee Murrillo was seen with several stab wounds. Information is that she was at home when she was approached by her common law husband Jodie Ramdas who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and proceeded to stab her several times, she was taken to the hospital where she is now listed in a stable condition. And Jodie Ramdas is in custody and awaiting charges at this time."

Police have detained one person for the stabbing.
