Last night we brought you the video of former Minister "Boots" Martinez post Lisa Brawl, a confrontation that could have turned deadly if the former minister hadn't dodged the crowbar that was almost brought down on his head.
As we told you the confrontation happened in the immediate aftermath of Belize's latest hurricane but it's only now made the rounds on social media.
Today the press asked the COMPOL if he's seen it, here's his response.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"How could I not see it when all the media houses are posting it and it's all over social media, so even if I didn't want to see it I am forced to see it and again I saw that the media, um, had a. Lengthy interview with Boots yesterday, um, we have not received an official complaint as far as I know, um, I don't know if one has been made but to my knowledge no but if one is made then the police will have to investigate it and see what needs to be done."
Reporter:
"But the behaviour of a former police officer?"
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"He's a former police he's not a police I don't control his behavior."
